Subjectively, I noticed that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I found a DeltaE value of just 2.3 which is lower than the amount visible to the human eye. This is quite impressive. The Dynamic Contrast function really helped to bring the depth to Life of Pi's few night scenes, and the color display was fantastic. Avatar was also extremely impressive.

These features can be useful in less than ideal installations since they make it simpler to display a flat picture. They do, however, affect the quality of the image. It is important to remember this. The GP500 offers a superior grayscale performance and produces extremely clear and distinct shades.
